Pavan Arora, MBA, CFA

Pavan Arora co-founded PARK Private Wealth Inc. after working with Towers Perrin providing asset consulting services to institutional clients. This included investment strategy design, asset allocation analysis and manager selection. Pavan also previously worked with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) where he gained valuable due diligence experience evaluating the investment assets of insurance companies. These projects incorporated the assessment of portfolio risk, liquidity requirements and compliance procedures. Pavan earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration degree (specializing in Finance & Strategy) from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a CFA Charterholder and an active member of the CFA Institute.

Ravi Kanani, BASc (Eng), MBA

Ravi Kanani co-founded PARK Private Wealth Inc. after working for private clients, institutions and foundations with  I3 Advisors, one of the largest independent advisors of its kind in Canada at the time. Ravi previously worked with Morgan Stanley where he provided wealth management services to high net-worth clients. In addition, his background includes equity research with RBC Capital Markets, M&A transaction services with PricewaterhouseCoopers and private equity with Lawrence & Co. Ravi earned an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, during which time he developed telecom and semiconductor technologies in Texas and Silicon Valley. He subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration degree (specializing in Finance & Strategy) from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.

Darren Thai, CFA

Darren Thai joined PARK Private Wealth Inc. after working for various financial institutions including Sun Life Global Investments, Mackenzie Investments and RBC Dominion Securities. At Sun Life, he performed extensive due diligence on actively-managed mutual funds to identify best-in-class managers. While at Mackenzie Investments, Darren worked closely with portfolio managers, traders and custodians to investigate various fund discrepancies. During this time, he developed a keen interest in coding and programmed tools for management that greatly improved team efficiency. Darren earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree (specializing in Finance) from York University. He is a CFA Charterholder and an active member of the CFA Institute.
